This JBBBS scholarship supports full-time college students who have previously been matched as a Little Brother or Sister in the JBBBS Children's program for at least one consecutive year OR who are participants in the JBBBS College Mentoring program. Eligible students may receive scholarship funding to support their undergraduate education at an accredited, 2 or 4-year program at a FAFSA-eligible college or university. Scholarship funds may be used toward tuition and other education-related expenses, including room and board, books, fees, required technology and other education-related expenses. Funding is available for up to four academic years of academic study. Extensions such as a "+1" may be granted on an exception basis, with the approval of the JBBBS College Scholarship committee.
Applications for the 2026-27 academic year will be available online beginning February 5, 2026, and MUST be submitted, with 100% completion*, including all required documents, by May 7, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered, and it is the responsibility of the applicant to keep track of what may be missing, and to provide that information by the May 7th deadline.
Please note: The JBBBS scholarship application is separate from the CJP Academic Scholarship application. Eligible students are welcome to apply for both programs, but note that the eligibility requirements are different for the two programs. (See the website for detailed information)
